Dynamic FS Delivers £265,000 Integrated Fire & Security Installation at Seashell Trust, Cheadle
Dynamic FS has completed a comprehensive, multi-disciplined fire and security installation at Seashell Trust’s Cheadle site — a specialist facility providing education, residential, and therapeutic services for children and young people with complex disabilities and communication difficulties. The £265,000 project required not only technical precision across multiple systems but also an exceptional level of sensitivity, planning, and care throughout every stage of delivery.
A Complex Site with Unique Demands
Working within an environment that supports some of the most vulnerable young people in the country placed particular obligations on our team from the outset. Every aspect of the programme — from the sequencing of installation works to the movement of personnel and equipment around the site — was planned and executed with the wellbeing of residents, students, and staff as the primary consideration.

Scope of Works
The installation covered the full spectrum of fire and security systems across the site:
- Category L1 fire alarm system, fully designed and installed to BS 5839-1:2025
- Access control system across 78 doors
- CCTV system for comprehensive site monitoring
- Intruder alarm system for out-of-hours security
- Disabled refuge and nurse call WC alarm system covering 39 toilet facilities
- Full integration and commissioning of all systems
- Intensive Building Control handover procedure
- Multiple site training sessions delivered to staff across the organisation
Delivered on Programme
Despite the complexity of the scope and the sensitivity of the environment, the project was completed successfully within the agreed programme. Seashell Trust now has a modern, fully integrated fire and security infrastructure that provides comprehensive protection across the entire site — giving staff, management, and the families of those in their care genuine confidence in the safety and security of the facility.
