Archbishop Holgate York

Dynamic FS completed a £145,000 fire alarm upgrade at Archbishop Holgate School, York, during the summer 2025 holiday period. The project involved the full design, installation, commissioning, and handover of a category L2 fire alarm system to BS 5839-1:2025, including a new Advanced MX5000 8-loop control panel. Working alongside the live existing system, the installation was completed without disruption to fire warning provision before entering a soak test period through to October 2025. The completed system delivers enhanced detection and faster emergency response across the site, and incorporates a dedicated lockdown alarm function — differentiated from the fire tone — supporting the school’s wider emergency response capability.
